Areas of Special Interest

In addition to our work within the corporate and small business environment, there are some areas of special interest in which LYNCO Associates, Inc. has considerable experience. Professional development and the creation of organizations of community resources that provide services and solutions to solve a problem are important to her. For the last 15 years she has been active in a variety of community based programs and non-profit organizations as a board member, executive director, trainer and consultant.

Dr. Rogerson has assisted in the design and development of non-profit corporations, has developed fundraising strategies and public relations materials, and has trained non-profit board and staff members in leadership, team building and strategic planning issues. She is the founder and executive director for the Network Exchange for Women, a professional development organization for women. She has also served as a Board member and as President for the Colorado Springs Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, and has been a faculty advisor for the Forum for American Indian Mentoring at a local community college and the Scholarship Chair for the Native American Women's Association.

    Native American Storytelling
Dr. Rogerson has spent more than six years studying with and working with people of various Native American communities. She is also a featured storyteller for school and community events during Native American recognition weeks. In addition, she incorporates many of these "stories that teach and entertain" into her keynote and training presentations.

With a great sensitivity to spiritual traditions and the individual's need for guidance, her repertoire includes creation stories, morality stories, "ghost" stories, stories about the use and abuse of power, leadership, and about the power of love.
