Reconciling Differences

Differences matter. They matter especially in an environment where teams are expected to be productive in short periods of time and where global companies, bring together people of many nationalities, languages and cultures. Whether cultural, functional, personal, or stylistic, the way that we differ from one another creates the dynamics of the workplace.

The goal is always to create workplaces that reconcile differences and encourage creativity, initiative and productivity on common ground. However, saying that we value and appreciate diversity among our employees and actually behaving in ways that support that appreciation is a continual challenge. Like a "house of mirrors" in the amusement park, we no sooner think we have solved one problem than another one bars the path.

Our goal at LYNCO Associates, Inc. is to provide you with the mental tools and the skills to develop strategies, behaviors, values and policies that support the reconciling of differences. In particular we are interested in helping you at the unit level to make sure that all differences among people don't inhibit high performance.
