Career Management

Career Management

True, "up is not the only way," and there might not even be any "up" anymore. And, there is a real concern among people in the workplace that career opportunities, especially those in the managerial arena are shrinking. In the 70s and 80s we talked about "designing career development systems" in the organization. Now, with more and more "virtual" companies, and "temporary" employees there is a need to address issues of career resiliency and continued employability.

Our goal is to assist you to

  • develop your employees to be the best they can be for your company's needs
  • prepare employees to take responsibility for their own career development and management.
  • identify skill, attitude, behavioral, and competency needs for both individuals and work units
  • define staffing needs, changes in work role definitions and job descriptions that take advantage of the skills and talents employees currently display
  • anticipate future staffing and competency needs
  • define employability and career resiliency needs of workers in your organization
  • broadening skills and awareness through networking and community involvement
  • design personalized career development plans that anticipate strategic changes in the workplace
  • define training/educational and developmental needs of managers and line employees
  • clarify personnel/staffing needs in relation to company vision, mission and strategic business directions
